"The Soul of Samurai" at 8pm on Friday, June 25th at
The Miller Theater of Columbia University

Samurai Sword Soul will have a brand new samurai performance which is called "The Soul of Samurai" with Yoshi Amao's Samurai master, Mr.Keihei Wakisaka, and his assistants, Shinichiro Tsugiga and Hibiki Okuzono from Japan. They will have the play with a lot of sword fighting choreographies in part 1, and they will have a variety show including some Japanese traditional dances, regional dances and music besides the samurai sword fighting in part 2. They are combined with the live sound of Japanese drums by Taiko Masala, Shamisen (Japanese guitar) and Koto (Japanese harp). Tickets are $15 in advance, and $20 at the door. Yoshi and Samurai Sword Soul will be acting for Sakura Matsuri

May 1st and 2nd, Samurai Sword Soul will perform for the Cherry Blossom Festival at BrooklynBotanic Garden. The title of this years performance is "Undefeated Mind". The group will perform this year with Japanese drum Group, Taiko Masala.

Samurai Sword Soul performed at QCC

April 28th, Samurai Sword Soul performed for the Asian Cultural Festival at Queensborough Community College (QCC). It was successful. Thank you,Florence!

Yoshi and Samurai Sword Soul were in the press preview
for Sakura Matsuri

April 27th there was a press preview atBrooklynBotanic Gardenfor Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival) on May 1st and 2nd .He was invited as MC for the main stage, and an actor for the Samurai Sword Soul performance. The shooting was held early in the morning and included NY-1, Fox, Warner Brothers, NBC, TV-Tokyo, The New York Sun, Brooklyn Page,ColumbiaUniversity, and others.

April 15th, CM shooting for Panasonic national commercial with Russell Simmons

Yoshi appeared as a guest on Conan O'Brien Show

April 8th, Yoshi was invited as a guest on The Late Night with Conan O'Brien on NBC. He was introduced as the host of Samurai Sportsman on OLN and talked about the samurai philosophy. After, Yoshi showed his sword technique named "Tsurugi no Kata". Conan then threw cabbage, melon, and a pie that Yoshi cut with his sword. The audience was greatly impressed with the samurai action.

Samurai Sword Soul performed at UNIS

March 29th, Samurai Sword Soul performed for the Spring Festival at the United Nation"sInternationalSchool(UNIS). It was very successful.

Yoshi was interviewed during the live TV for Rodeo

February 28th, Yoshi was invited to the PBR (Professional Bull Riding) event inPhiladelphia. As he is the host of Samurai Sportsman on OLN(Outdoor Life Network), Yoshi was interviewed during the live TV broadcast. Another guest was Adriano Moraes who was Yoshi's Sensei for the bull riding episode on Samurai Sportsman. Since shooting Samurai Sportsman, Adriano has become more successful in his bull riding career and is now ranked among the best bull riders.
